Hello All!
We've posted a new beta version of the Vox Mobile application for use on your Windows Mobile 5 device (Beta 7).
If you're not familiar with Vox Mobile, it is the easiest and fastest way to post photos and videos to your Vox blog!
This new beta version has some updated user interface elements as well as a few bug fixes. If you give it a test drive, we would love to hear from you! Let us know how it's working, by posting a comment here, or send me a private message in Vox.
You can download the application (CAB file) here and transfer it to your device via ActiveSync, or you can download and install this version to your device by pointing your mobile web browser to: http://www.splashblog.com/Downloads/dev/Vox.CAB
(sorry for the strange URL - we're working on it)
If you're already familiar with the release version of Vox Mobile (1.0), you might be wondering how this version differs.
- Posts are now published in the background, so you can continue to capture new photos and videos while previous posts are being published.
- You can configure Vox Mobile to automatically publish new posts so you don't have to manually go into the Vox Mobile application and start the publishing process.
Simply put, you can configure Vox Mobile to automatically publish your new content without ever having to tell it to. It's what we call "zero-click publishing" - capture a photo, and you're done. It doesn't get any easier!
The Publish Prefs are where you can configure Vox Mobile to be as automatic or manual as you want it. Choose when you want to add items to Vox Mobile, and choose when you want Vox Mobile to publish it to your Vox blog.
